Karen Carter, owner of Carter’s Pharmacy in Gunnedah and Narrabri Pharmacy, is a devoted pharmacist dedicated to community health. With expertise in wound care and sleep apnoea, Karen goes the extra mile for her patients, even tackling snoring-related issues late into the night. Karen’s journey in pharmacy began with a passion for science, leading her to study at the University of Sydney. Through hospital and community pharmacy experiences, she emphasizes lifelong learning and patient-centered care. As a mentor and advocate for her profession, Karen fosters a positive, rewarding environment in her pharmacies. Karen has completed a Diploma in Advanced Wound Care, a Grad Cert in Clinical Pharmacy (Aged Care) and the JCU Prescribing Pharmacist course. She is also accredited for HMR and RMMRs.
