Andrew Matthews has a track-record of program and project success across health and pharmacy initiatives that have made a real difference to the practice of health professionals and the lives of Australians. At the Australian Digital Health Agency from 2018-2021, Andrew and his Agency team led the development of the technical framework for electronic prescribing and the subsequent implementation of electronic prescriptions. Andrew has contributed to many professional practice committees and working groups, is well published, and has presented at multiple conferences both as an invited speaker and as a presenter of contributed papers/posters. In his role as Partnerships and Engagement Lead – Digital Health at Fred IT Group, Andrew works with both government and industry in support of the National Prescription Delivery Service and other national digital health infrastructure. He continues to work part time in community pharmacy.
