How to become the 2025 Pharmacy Assistant of the Year
Here is an overview of the 2025 Pharmacy Assistant of the Year Award process:

Pharmacy assistants may:

self-nominate; or
-
be nominated by a third party, such as an employer, colleague, customer or industry representative.

PATY2025 nominees must complete and submit a response to selection criteria.

Shortlisted nominees are selected to participate in the virtual PATY2025 State Workshop day.

From each State Workshop, one State Winner is selected.

PATY2025 State Winners are invited to represent their state or territory at the PATY2025 National Judging Workshop on 3 September 2025 at the Pharmacy Connect 2025 conference in Sydney.
- The PATY2025 national winner and runner up are announced at the Pharmacy Connect 2025 Cocktail Party on Thursday 4 September 2025 in Sydney.
What are the prizes for the 2025 Pharmacy Assistant of the Year?
In addition to outstanding training, development, and networking opportunities, the 2025 Pharmacy Assistant of the Year offers the following prizes to PATY2025 winners:
PATY2025 State Finalists
State Finalists will:
- participate in the PATY2025 State Workshop and Judging Day, gaining invaluable professional development; and
- receive 50% off Pharmacy Connect 2025 conference registrations, which includes a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant educational stream.
PATY2025 State Winners
Each State winner will receive:
- a custom glass trophy;
- exclusive training and development sessions;
- national recognition in industry publications such as Retail Pharmacy Assistants, Retail Pharmacy, Australasian Pharmacist, and Pharmacy Daily;
- a profile in National Guild electronic and social media platforms;
- return flights and accommodation for attendance at the PATY2025 National Judging Workshop and Pharmacy Connect 2025 conference; and
- complimentary registration for the Pharmacy Connect 2025 conference.
PATY2025 National Winner
The National Winner will receive:
- a custom glass trophy;
- $5,000 cash prize;
- return flights, accommodation and registration to APP2026 on the Gold Coast, including tickets to the Welcome Reception and Street Party;
- return flights, accommodation, and registration to Pharmacy Connect, including tickets to the Welcome Reception and Cocktail Party; and
- an invitation to participate as a judge at the Pharmacy Assistant of the Year 2026 National Judging Workshop.
PATY2025 National Runner Up
The National Runner Up will receive:
- a custom glass trophy.
