Kate Gunthorpe
Kate Gunthorpe (BPharm, GradCertAdvPracPresPharm, GradCertPubPolicy, MPS) is Deputy Chief Pharmacist for TerryWhite Chemmart, one of Australia’s largest community pharmacy networks. In her role, Kate supports pharmacists across the country to deliver safe, accessible clinical care in community pharmacy, including vaccinations and the expanding scope of pharmacist prescribing.
With experience spanning both community and hospital pharmacy, Kate is passionate about helping pharmacists practise to their full potential and improving access to healthcare for Australians through community pharmacy. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer at James Cook University, Monash University and University of Queensland where she contributes to the development of the next generation of pharmacists.
