Rick Samimi is the President of Pharmacy Council of NSW, the coregulator in the state. He currently co-owns several Community Pharmacies in Sydney. Rick has held various industry and academic positions during his long career as a pharmacist. He is a past President of Pharmacy Guild of NSW and a former Guild National Councillor. Rick is passionate about the value of pharmacists in primary care. His current interest is communicating the critical role adherence to regulatory framework plays in protecting the integrity of the profession in the context of the expansion of scope of practice of pharmacists.
